Chemistry AP
CHEMISTRY AP: The Advanced Placement Chemistry course is designed to be taken only after
the successful completion of a first course in high school chemistry. Students in
this course should attain a thorough understanding of fundamentals and a
competence in dealing with chemical problems.
Topics such as the structure of matter, kinetic theory of gases, chemical
equilibria, chemical kinetics and the basic concepts of thermodynamics are
covered in depth.
Prerequisites: Biology and Chemistry R

Teacher Apprentice Program
TEACHER APPRENTICE PROGRAM R: This course is open to 12th graders who wish to provide service to the schools in
our district on a volunteer basis. Participants in the program will be given release
time from school to volunteer at elementary or middle school locations in the
areas they might be interested in pursuing after graduation.
